Abstract

|
Esophageal diverticulum is uncommon. Moreover esophagocutaneous fistula due to spontaneous perforation of esophageal diverticulum is extremely rare. A patient, 23 year male, had been suffered from chronic discharge through two openings of left side of neck and foreign body sensation in throat occurring several seconds after ingestion of liquid or solids since the age of 7, on and off. It was delineated by esophagography and was treated by one stage surgical repair (diverticulectoiny) through a left cervical approach. The result was successful.
